Our Mission

At Sig’s K9 Correction we are dedicated to helping dogs become confident, well-balanced companions through structured, real-world training. We focus on obedience and aggression rehabilitation—tailored to your dog’s unique needs. Our goal is to build lasting trust and respect between each dog and their owner.

Our name honors Sig, a rescued German Shepherd who overcame severe behavioral challenges through time, training, and trust. Sig’s transformation and sacrifice inspired Drake's passion for dog training and is the foundation for everything we do today. He proved that every dog deserves a second chance.

Meet The Trainer

Drake Davidson - Founder & Lead Trainer

Drake Davidson is the heart behind Sig’s K9 Correction—a trainer whose work is rooted in compassion, commitment, and results. With over five years of hands-on experience, Drake has dedicated his time to helping dogs and their owners build unbreakable bonds using his individualized and balanced training methods.

His journey began with Sig, a violent shelter dog. Determined to help Sig thrive, Drake immersed himself in training, learning alongside experienced professionals and transforming Sig into a highly obedient, loyal companion. That transformation didn’t just change Sig’s life—it changed Drake’s too.

Drake has since rehabilitated and trained multiple dogs from difficult situations—earning a reputation for his intuitive, balanced, and fearless approach to K9 correction. Whether it’s a case of basic obedience or serious aggression rehabilitation, he works with dogs of all breeds and ages, specializing in cases of aggression.

At the core of Drake’s training philosophy is the belief that everything begins with the relationship. When a dog trusts their handler, they become willing to follow their lead—and real, lasting change becomes possible.

Today, Sig’s K9 Correction stands as a tribute to the dog who started it all. Though Sig passed in 2022, his legacy lives on through every dog trained. Drake now shares life with two companions: Royce, an nine-year-old Presa Canario–American Bulldog mix, and Ogun, a two-year-old Presa Canario—each a testament to the power of second chances.
